Aims of the Network

• Provide a means of communication and support for all Waikato museums on professional issues of common interest and benefit. To meet regularly to exchange information, keep up with current developments, further professional goals and promote social contact among members.
• Identify, facilitate and develop training opportunities for museum personnel.
• Promote Waikato museums in order to increase visitor attendance and encourage awareness of the value of museums and other heritage activities in the community.
