Features of the museum include the McDonald cottage, displays of Maori tools, school items, childhood toys and dairy farm items. Also see our own film “The Green Circle” (25 minutes)

The museum archives hold an extensive collection of Morrinsville material including photographs which are available for viewing on request.

Opening Hours for the Museum

Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday Friday 12.30pm to 4.00pm
Saturday from 9.00am to 2.00 pm.   –  Market Day only.

Our opening hours on  Sunday  10.00am to 2.00pm

We do strongly suggest you ring The Morrinsville Museum before you

set off on your family day out to visit the Museum. We are dependent

on volunteers staff. If you wish to visit outside the listed hours you can

call 889 4190 or email the museum to arrange a time to visit.

If you want some particular information please let us know in advance

so that we can search out the material, if we have it, before you arrive at the museum.

                                                          The First World War and its Morrinsville Soldiers

We will honour each Morrinsville Serviceman on the anniversary of his death
with a special personal review of his service to his Country and Morrisville district.

                                                           Come to the Museum to see further information and our exhibition.
