formally known as Morrin Museum


See our new facility and contribute your own ideas, stories, items and information to the history of Morrinsville.

Features of the museum include the McDonald cottage, displays of Maori tools, school items, childhood toys and dairy farm items. Also see our own film “The Green Circle” (25 minutes)

The museum archives hold an extensive collection of Morrinsville material including photographs which are available for viewing on request.

 

Opening Hours

Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday Friday 12.30pm to 4.00pm
Saturday from 9.00am to 2.00 pm.   –  Market Day only.

Closed Sunday and Mondays

We do strongly suggest you ring The Morrinsville Museum before you set off on your family day out to visit the Museum. We are dependent on volunteers staff. If you wish to visit outside the listed hours you can call 889 4190 or email the museum to arrange a time to visit.

with a special personal review of his service to his Country and Morrinsvillle district.
