Features of the museum include the McDonald cottage, displays of Maori tools, school items, childhood toys and dairy farm items. Also see our own film “The Green Circle” (25 minutes)
The museum archives hold an extensive collection of Morrinsville material including photographs which are available for viewing on request.
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday Friday 12.30pm to 4.00pm
Saturday from 9.00am to 2.00 pm
Closed Sunday and Mondays
We do strongly suggest you ring The Morrin Museum before you set off on your family day out, just to make sure they are open, there is nothing worse than disappointed kids in the back of your car after a long journey. We are dependent on volunteers to staff the museum.
If you wish to visit outside the listed hours you can call 889 4190 or email the museum to arrange a time to visit.
